Sailing Area

The Southern Ionian is sheltered and you are never more than an hour from a delightful anchorage or taverna. The area includes the Islands of Skorpios, Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, Arkudi, Atokos, Ithaca, Kefalonia. We are based on the island of Lefkas in Nidri,50 minutes driving from Preveza airport, situated ideally for both North and South Ionian sailing areas. The short sailing distances between the many good anchorages make this area ideal for leisurely, relaxed sailing. Good for beginners or experienced sailors. Navigation Is stress free - Predominantly by sight, with almost no tide, and very few hazards. The Northern area is slightly more demanding than Southern area.

Visit the "Onassis" island of Skorpios, Meganisi, Kastos and Kalamos within the turquoise waters of this inland sea, home to dolphins and marine turtles, bordering the mainland with its fantastic panoramas. Plus neighbouring islands of Ithaca, Kefalonia and Zakynthos
